Thane: Polio Pulse Vaccination Drive Organised In These Areas On June 19

In order to ensure that no child in the country is deprived of the polio vaccination, the sub-national Pulse Polio vaccination campaign will be held on June 19 across Thane district.

According to reports, the vaccination drive will be organised in the rural areas of Ambernath, Bhiwandi, Kalyan and Murbad talukas. A district-level coordination committee meeting was held by the zilla parishad to review the preparations.

The meeting chaired by the zilla parishad chief executive officer Dr Bhausaheh Dangade was also attended by district health officer Dr Gangadhar Parge and district immunisation officer Anjali Chaudhary along with other municipal and taluka health officers.
